Software & Graphics
With years of experience and being an independent poker site, Absolute has a poker client they can be proud of. Their software is one of the top in the online poker industry, with decent graphics and sounds. Glitches are very rare and to our knowledge, no downtime has been reported. The overall look of the software is a little disappointing, but the functionality and game overview is easy and offers everything a player needs. So if look don’t bother you then your fine. There are a number of great features that include the player notes, search, hand history and statistics. You can adjust the table size and use the mini view feature and you can cascade the tables. This is all good stuff for multi table players.Absolute has a private table feature for players to set up and invite friends. This is great if you have friends who play poker online or if you like to run office games as we do.Apart from the look there are some other little bits that we did not like when reviewing Absolute poker and we hope they will fix then in time. The first being the animations cant be turned off and if your system is slow it will slow the game play. The sound effects can be turned off but the warnings also get locked off. That’s all really but we do hope Absolute will take a look at it sometime soon. |

They do offer Omaha, Omaha hi-lo, Seven card stud and Razz games but these will only be busy around peak hours.Absolute offers the usual pot-limit, limit and no-limit games for all of their poker games. The limits games range from 2cent – 4cent games all the way up to $150 - $300, and the no-limit Holdem games from 5cent – 10cent games up to $5 - $10. |
